High School Fishing Program

The High School Fishing Program was developed to help students learn how to become effective, conservation minded anglers. The goal is to teach students about ethical angling, conservation, Florida's aquatic habitats, basic fishing gear, and general fishing concepts to help create confident and responsible anglers.

Freshwater Fishing Camps

The freshwater fishing and basic boating skills camp is based on the successful pilot program developed by FWC at Joe Budd Youth Conservation Center, near Tallahassee. Learn More.

Catch a Florida Memory

Catch a Florida Memory is a saltwater angler recognition program that provides rewards to anglers for their fishing achievements. The program encourages anglers to target a diversity of species to help decrease fishing pressure on the most sought-after catches. Kid's Saltwater Fishing Clinics

Kids' Saltwater Fishing Clinics are events runs by partners to help create responsible marine resource stewards by teaching youth the vulnerability of Florida's marine ecosystems. In addition, clinics teach fundamental saltwater fishing skills and provide youth with a positive fishing experience. Learn more.

Adult and Women Saltwater Fishing Clinics

Adult and Women's Saltwater Fishing Clinics are one-day, shore-based events designed to introduce participants to saltwater fishing and team them how to be responsible, ethical stewards of Florida's marine resources. Programs are free to the public 18 years or older, and require a saltwater fishing license to attend. Learn more.

Virtual Saltwater Fishing Clinics

Join us for virtual sessions to learn how to saltwater fish and help conserve our marine resources for the future. Discover the importance of fisheries conservation and stewardship through the fun and exciting sport of fishing! Sessions will include topics on conservation, rods and reels, tackle, baits, rigs, knot tying, habitats, fish handling, best practices and additional resources. High School Fishing Program

The High School Fishing Program was developed to help students learn how to become effective, conservation minded anglers. The goal is to teach students about ethical angling, conservation, Florida's aquatic habitats, basic fishing gear, and general fishing concepts to help create confident and responsible anglers.

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) Program

Offers outdoor skills training for anyone 18 years of age or older. The workshop features expert instructors and safe, hands-on opportunities to learn about fishing, archery, paddling, hunting, nature photography, outdoor survival, boating, birdwatching and more. See MyFWC.com/BOW.

National Archery in the Schools Program

Teaches international style target archery in 4th-12th grade physical education classes. Core content covers archery history, safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, and self-improvement. For more information, visit MyFWC.com/NASP

Youth Hunting Program

Provides safe, educational, mentored youth hunts to youth between 12 and 17 years old who have passed a hunter safety course and are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Find a Youth Hunting Program event at MyFWC.com/YHPF.

Youth Hunter Education Challenge

Provides opportunities for hunter safety course graduates 18 and younger to learn more about leadership, ethics and safety while expanding their knowledge about conservation, target shooting and hunting. Learn more at MyFWC.com/YHEC.

Nature Trackers

Through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Nature Trackers website, you can learn how and where to identify and enjoy the plants and animals around you. You can also learn how to enrich habitat for wildlife around your home and neighborhood.

Chinsegut Conservation Center

Nature based education and outdoor skills programs are offered year round at Chinsegut Conservation Center. Programs connect visitors with biologists and area experts to explore and become familiar with Florida’s unique and sensitive natural areas.

Ocala Outdoor Adventure Camp
