Research Information Center

Scientific publications on a table

The Research Information Center is a technical research library that provides marine and wildlife research services at the FWC's Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI). The primary services for FWC staff are editing, publishing, metadata, preservation and access to research. Anyone may register and search the center's marine and wildlife resources in the FWC Digital Library.

Publications

The online FWC Digital Library contains all publications authored by FWRI researchers across the state and with registration, provides either immediate access to gray literature reports or a cart for ordering copyrighted materials. Through its publications production services, the center helps FWRI staff prepare manuscripts for in-house publications as well as a host of peer-reviewed professional journals. See a list of new publications and the FWRI Technical Report Series for the institute's most recently authored literature.

Contacts
E-mail Robin Grunwald, at [email protected] or call 727-896-8626 and ask for the Research Information Center. The center is not set up like a standard public library; the public will find it difficult to browse for research in person. If you are looking for particular research materials that you are unable to find in the FWC Digital Library, please email us to see if our holdings include it and appointments can be arranged to access large quantities of research unavailable in the digital library.
