The lifetime licenses are also ideal for parents, grandparents and family friends who want to pass on the joys of outdoor recreation to younger generations as well as a wonderful option for conservationists who want to contribute to long-term management of Florida's natural resources.
Funding from the sale of lifetime licenses are invested, creating an endowment to support conservation. Only the interest from the trust fund is appropriated, with the principal held in perpetuity to ensure long-term funding for conservation programs. This endowment ensures that Florida's natural resources are conserved today and for the future.
Lifetime licenses remain valid for use in Florida even if the license holder moves out of the state. See more about Florida residency.
Lifetime Licenses for Florida Residents
The Lifetime Gold Sportsman's License includes Hunting, Freshwater Fishing and Saltwater Fishing licenses; and Deer, Wildlife Management Area, Archery, Muzzleloading Gun, Crossbow, Turkey, Florida Waterfowl, Snook and Lobster permits.
- Age 4 or younger: $401.50
- Ages 5-12: $701.50
- Ages 13 and older: $1,001.50

The Lifetime Hunting License includes a Hunting license; and Deer, Wildlife Management Area, Archery, Muzzleloading Gun, Crossbow, Turkey, and Florida Waterfowl permits.

How to Order
For children under 13 years of age, lifetime licenses can be purchased only at county tax collectors' offices with the following documentation:
- Certified copy of child's birth certificate;
- Social Security Card; and
- Copy of the Florida driver's license of one parent whose name appears on the birth certificate.
Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 may also use the following options at county tax collectors' offices:
- Student ID Card (from a Florida school); and
- Parent's proof of residency (child must be accompanied by the parent at the time of purchase).
Residents age 16 and older who have a valid Florida Driver's License or Identification Card with residency verified by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles may purchase a lifetime license at county tax collectors' offices or online at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com.
Lifetime License Designations
Lifetime license holders can now have designations for hunting, freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing or gold sportsman’s licenses as well as boating safety certifications added to a Florida driver’s license.
